On Wednesday, May 13th, 2026, Larry spoke at Paulinho da Costa’s Star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony (Hollywood, CA).

Paulinho da Costa is one of the most recorded percussionists in music history. Over his decades-long career, his signature rhythm and percussion tracks have appeared on over 2,500 albums and 6,000 individual songs. He has collaborated with some of the biggest names across pop, jazz, R&B, and rock, including Michael Jackson, Earth, Wind & Fire, Madonna, Prince, Miles Davis, Stevie Wonder, and Frank Sinatra.

Larry referenced the Earth, Wind & Fire song “Shining Star” – “I was so blessed to co-write a powerful song years ago, I think I was 19 years old, called ‘Shining Star.’  My friend, you have always been a shining star.  But now, you have a star on the Walk of Fame.”
