BAND MEMBERS

LARRY DUNN (Keyboards / Kalimba): With his funky keyboard playing, Larry helped transform Earth, Wind & Fire into one of the all-time most successful R&B bands in the world, with sales of more than 100 million albums worldwide, 6 GRAMMYs, 13 GRAMMY nominations, 4 American Music Awards, 32 Gold & Platinum/Multi-Platinum Records & Albums, a Star on Hollywood’s Walk Of Fame, induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame (2000) and the Songwriters Hall Of Fame (2010) as well as other industry awards.

In addition to playing organ, synthesizer, piano, keyboards, and clavinet with the group from 1972 until 1983, Larry held the position and handled the responsibilities of the band’s Musical Director. As one of the key people behind the scene, much of the group’s musical success can be attributed to him. In addition, he rehearsed Earth, Wind & Fire for live stage performances and wrote many of the musical segues and medleys.

Larry had major creative influence in, and is proud of his contribution to such Earth, Wind & Fire classics as: “Shining Star,” “Spirit,” “Be Ever Wonderful,” “Runnin’,” “See The Light,” “Let Me Talk,” “And Love Goes On,” “Jupiter,” as well as other melodies that will live on in the hearts of fans and popular music lovers alike.

Larry has developed a talent of producing and composing for other artists. His production and performance credits include: The Emotions, Level 42, Ronnie Laws, George Duke, Lenny White, Paulinho Da Costa, Foley, Ramsey Lewis, Caldera, Hubert Laws, Stanley Turrentine, Dianne Reeves, Brian Culbertson, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Stanley Clarke and Deniece Williams, just to name a few. In 2013, Larry performed, produced and arranged three songs on Earth, Wind & Fire’s album, “Now, Then & Forever.”

Continuing in that vein of musical style and artistic nuance, Larry has brought together some of the world’s greatest musical talents to recreate Larry Dunn’s Anthology Of Earth Wind & Fire. He’s supported by the following 12 world-class musicians known as the Larry Dunn Orchestra…

LUISA DUNN (Vocals): Luisa has composed, produced, performed and recorded with Hubert Laws, Ramsey Lewis, Ronnie Laws, Keiko Matsui, The Phenix Horns, Drupi, Foley, Mariah Carey, Boys II Men, James Ingram, Alicia Keys, Beyonce and Pharrell.

JAMELLE ADISA (Trumpet): Jamelle has performed and/or recorded with Raphael Saadiq, Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews, Macy Gray, Robin Thicke and Solange Knowles.

DUANE BENJAMIN (Trombone): Duane has performed and/or recorded with Jill Scott, Al Green, Maxwell, Stanley Clarke, Justin Timberlake, Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, Gladys Knight, Marvin Gaye and The Four Tops.

PROCTON BONNELL (Vocals): Procton has worked with Kool & The Gang.

MASTA EDWARDS (Vocals): Masta has performed and/or recorded with Scott Henderson, L.T.D., Thelma Houston and Mandrill.

TY FLEMING (Drums): Ty has worked with Stevie Wonder, Bobby Brown and El DeBarge.

ROMY GEROSO (Guitar): Romy has performed and/or recorded with his band Geroso, Jennifer Lopez, Robin Thicke, Ice-T, George Duke, Sheila E., Janet Jackson, Verdine White, GQ, Flo Rida, Sekou Bunch and O’Bryan.

MICHAEL HUNTER (Trumpet): Michael has worked with James Brown, Lenny Kravitz and Boz Scaggs.

HOWARD JOHNSON (Vocals): Howard has worked as a solo artist as well as producing for artists such as Madonna, Boyz II Men and Tom Jones.  Howard had a monster number one soul/dance hit called “So Fine.”

KEITH MCKELLEY (Saxophone): Keith has worked with Bob James of Fourplay, Mary J. Blige and Usher.

LESLIE SMITH (Vocals / Percussion): Leslie has worked with Phil Collins, Kenny G, Lionel Richie, Rickie Lee Jones, Robbie Dupree, Joe Cocker, Randy Newman, Keiko Matsui, Eric Burdon, Kelly Clarkson and Everlast.

HILLIARD WILSON (Bass): Hilliard has worked with Jay King, Brenda Russell, Phil Perry and composed with the Manhattans, Prince and Bobby Womack.
